✋ Is this craft difficult?
This exploding box craft involves lots of cutting and folding. 4th and 5th grade students will likely have more success than students in primary grades. It can take some students 1-2 hours to complete. I recommend breaking it apart into small chunks over the course of a few class periods.
✋ What other materials will students need?
Students will need 3 pieces of construction paper, scissors, glue, and coloring materials. Teachers can make a class set of stencils using cardstock paper. Invite students to fill in their notes while waiting to borrow and trace a stencil.
